New watch acquisition: SPB151!
Of all the watches I looked at when I first started collecting, the Willard style was the first that I knew I needed to own some day.
Well, I’m here to tell ya it was worth the wait. Is this watch worth they money Seiko’s charging for it — who’s to say. Is it worth what I paid for it used — oh most definitely. Smaller than a Turtle. classier than a Casio. The Willard is here to stay.

Congrats. The Seiko Willard has been on my radar for a while now. I’m worried how the size of it will wear on my 6.5” wrist. I know they wear small but I went with the Seiko Slim Turtle instead .

I know, but you can pick them up used for not too bad a price. I’ve got my eye on a couple other Willards. We’ll see how much I’m willing to spend on them in the future, hahahahaha.

Oooooh, I almost went with the green. It looks incredible in pics, but I’ve never seen on in person. I figured black was the safest way to start. I’m jealous, hahahaha.

If you can get somewhere to try one on, that would be the best way to go. I have a 7.5 inch wrist, so I tend to go for bigger watches. That said, I have a couple 38-39’s and the Willard definitely wears in that zone. The lug to lug is pretty small all things considered.
