CWC G10 Quartz & Erika's Original (fixed bar strap version)

I was working in London and visited CWC HQ at Silvermans. They have a nice little display section in store and the owners are super happy to have a chat to you. Managed to pick up the last G10 Quartz in stock plus a couple of NATO's. Beautiful little watch and happy I sold my Khaki Mechanical for this one. Seconds hand hits all the markers too. Decided to go for my first Erika's Original custom strap for fixed spring bar watches. Features a screw pin to allow you to fit through the bars. I chose the broad arrow clasp with Austrian flag. Quality is just amazing. You have to see the straps in the flesh as their web site doesn't do it justice.

Great watch congratulations 👌and great strap combination also. Love CWC as a brand and their history and Erika’s straps are excellent quality.

Nice. Erika’s Original straps are nice though on the expensive side. Plenty of other alternatives are available if you want to try them out. Enjoy 👍

Idd. This is why I waited for black friday. I didn't find any other options that allow for fitting on fixed military spring bars which is why I went with Erikas.

A couple of options to consider.

  • Nick Mankey's straps work with my FXD, which I assume will work with your G10 quartz. Only downside is the 2-3 month wait to get one:

The Original Series are much softer than EO, so you may want to go with the Pro version (which I hear is stiffer).

  • Watch Steward's G Series also works on my FXD. Their nylon is slightly softer than EO's:

  • There's also NDC, which I haven't tried myself but some like them. It's more expensive than NM and WS, but cheaper than EO.

looks epic especially on that strap👌 Ive got one dated 1990. Absolutely love it even if it is a tad on the little side for me.

Love the CWC G10. I have the Fatboy-80 version. That strap combo is stunning and has now got me looking at similar options. I'd have to check but is the light width 19mm on the G10s? 🤔

I saw the CWC new Fatboy at the store and it's very nice as well. G10 has 19mm lugs. The strap I got was also 19mm, but you could also use it on a 20mm watch.

Same, right on the small size, but the strap bulks it out a little in a good way.

Thanks very much for posting these. Some really nice options to look at also. I do much prefer straps that don't go under the watch head, but the with G10 its so thin so doesn't bother me too much. I have an NDC strap, but 21mm too wide to fit nicely into the 19mm G10 lugs unfortunately.
