Depends on how big your wrist is. The Bulova Lunar Pilot is a pretty chunky watch, so the Seiko GMT is probably best.
(My partner recommended I get the same thing in orange - the brainwashing has been successful 😂)
I'm in the same boat you are. I have been looking at both of these myself for a while. Although I love the Bulova, I already have too many chronographs, I need a change of scenery. The Seiko is nice, but I have close to a 7 inch wrist so it may be a little chunky on me.
Is there a way that you could try these on in person? Let us know which one you choose!
If you haven't already, you'll need to try on the Bulova first. If it fits and you don't have many chronos then go for that. GMT is in vogue at the moment but I find it a very overrated complication. I can add and subtract simple numbers. Maybe if our planet had 50 timezones it might be a different thing.
I'd choose the Lunar Pilot, if I could pull it off. It's quite large and I have yet to try one on.

I own both, Seiko not a 5, but I love the Bulova. I love the back story, the finish, the history, and did I mention that the 262Khz movement has not dropped one second in 3 months, according to the Atomic Clock! I have a bigger wrist so I just bought one, but maybe you should try one on first, but the watch is top notch - I love it.
What does your collection need? A GMT is a very useful complication.

I agree with you that I should try it in on before I by it. I have tried the Seiko and it fits perfectly.

If you haven’t already try on the Bulova, I did and found it very uncomfortable haven’t seen any reviews mention it so may just be me.
