$250 a good price?

A neighbor of mine is selling his Seiko SRP773K1 for $250. After searching the internet, this seems like a fair price. I’m probably going to pull the trigger on it, but I figured I’d filter it through WatchCrunch first to see what the people thought.

The bezel looks very strange. Is the insert aftermarket? Probably this is what is devaluing the resale price of the watch, as y his sort of turtle models can be found in retail for a range around $300-500. Shouldn’t be a big problem if you’re happy to buy an OEM bezel insert and install it yourself.

Thanks everybody for your inputs. I did end up purchasing the watch, despite the aftermarket bezel (I kinda like it).
