I daily my Alpinist. I don’t have a dislike for the cyclops. I actually like it. The strap took about 2 months of wear to break in.

I can’t agree. I obsess over making sure the time is at least within a few seconds. I do agree though that if I absolutely needed correct time I would get a digital watch.

Thanks everybody for your inputs. I did end up purchasing the watch, despite the aftermarket bezel (I kinda like it).
