Watch for outdoor activities (f.e cycling)

Hey crunchers,

wanted to ask you for your input which watches you use for outdoor activities like cycling or so? I am looking for a watch with which i can go cycling and is resistant again a little bit of water etc. etc.

Thank you for your input - cheers

Nevermind that I'm literally in bed in this photo! Lol I go outside sometimes

I ride thousands of miles a year and never wear a watch

I am a cyclist and live in Ireland so not a good combo …at least 200m water resistance and good shock absorption for me..Seriously tho g shock are hard to beat ,but a decent tool watch on a rubber or synthetic strap for a bit more style. Or if you are Mark Cavendish/Julien Alaphillipe…a Richard Mille.

I generally wear a vario 1918 or a diver. The only watch I personally wouldn’t wear cycling is my chronograph.

Any watch, with decent anti-shock or a hardy movement.

Seiko 5's, NH35 's, quartzes, etc.

Not a cyclist, but the only watch I haven't put through a range session (firearms) is my pocket watch. They've held up fine.

Everything else has gone at least once. Same with any clothing/footwear I have. Practice with the same thing you might be wearing in the real world. YMMV.

I tend to wear my G-shocks or my Lorus Field watch for cycling
