Rolex AirKing 126900 AD or grey
Hey watchfam,
I am currently at the beginning of my journey as a watch collector - my next one will be an Rolex AirKing 126900
I was in the end of january at the AD, no call so far and dunno if there will be one (no history there and Not willing to buy jewellery.
So my question - should i wait and hope or Go grey (maybe 10% above List)

Do not wait for the call, pop in every 5-6 weeks. It is not a hard watch to get and a hard one to sell when they do get it.

Yea same like what did guy said just go to AD every now and then to check on it. It’s not a hard piece to get so it’s not really worth to pay a premium for it

No my friend buy what you like and love,wouldn't ever tell someone there taste is wrong,just don't get why people waste money buying new,I know some rolex are more expensive on the gray,just try get a good deal my friend that's all I'm saying,no watch is worth more than 2k no matter who made it or what it's made out of,going to send you a picture of a post from yesterday put it in to perspective what I'm saying 👍

And people will say inflation,which we all know is bullshit excuse to charge us more 😂which is the case my children will be getting happy meals at 1984 rolex daydate prices.
For that level of mark up on grey, I would go grey - esp. if this is the only Rolex you want. I don't have time to deal with a Rolex AD, and I don't think the experience is that important vice getting the watch and enjoying. An indefinite wait for the chance you will get the watch you want at retail is just unneeded and counter productive - as life is short.
Great choice of watch,it's on my list , looking at prices on the grey market they aren't too far off retail, personally I'd give it a few more months to see if retail come up trumps for you
Is it an under retail watch?. If not then I would wait, can't be so hard to get. Also, if you want another watch from the AD it helps to buy the Air King.
