Looking at 2 watches, which one?

Looking at 2 watches for purchase, any info you would like to share about either watch would be great. I like them both, although I have not tried on the CW.

You can’t compare the black bay 54 with the sea lander there is a 1500$ price gap

I have a Tudor and I’m about to pull the trigger on a CW. The comment above is correct they do not compare as the CW cannot get close to Tudors finishing at the prices they charge unless you looking at the belcanto. They both rate very high but are in very different categories

Recent article was claiming an average 600% mark-up on luxury watches. Christopher Ward I believe claim 300% That would make the actual watches closer in price at the point of manufacturing 🤔

Easily over 2K difference

General Advice: CW + one other very nice watch instead of the BB54.

What I would do: BB54 because I love that watch.

😃

You are comparing a $3.900 watch and a $1.225 watch. Obviously, the results of your poll are going to be completely skewed.

C63 + Sinn 556. But I‘m biased because I don’t like the Black Bay line 😂

It depends on why you're buying the watch. If you want a luxury brand name on your wrist(there's nothing wrong with that), the CW will not scratch that itch.

If you want a well made and well finished watch on your wrist for at an affordable price, the CW will easily do that.

At one time I was torn between a BB58, saving and saving for an AT. Then CW launched the C63 line, and picked one up. When it arrived, I lost almost all interest in spending money on luxury brands.

All this to say, determine for yourself what it is you want from your watch, and the decision will have made itself.
