Ten dollar Swatch

Found at a pawn shop in the Yukon Territory. Works, crystal beat to hell, price was right. Clasp remarkably stiff.

If I just find some way to polish or replace the crystal, I think it really won't look too terrible...

I'm usually not a fan of ostentatious overbranding like this, but Swatch makes it fun. That dial with the larger even numbered indices is something I haven't seen before.

I'd totally ask a jeweler or watch repair place (full watchmaking ability not needed) what can be done for that crystal or how much to replace it. Unless it is acrylic and you're willing to expend much time and elbow grease.

I dig it!!

Too cool!

Someone wore the crap outta that piece! A new crystal would go a long way.

You could get some Polywatch and just polish it out but at this stage I would just rather get the crystal replaced 🤔. Nice find btw

Great looking watch and dial, I’m really into numbers at the mo,

Crystal looks like plexi to me with all those abrasions, but it will need some serious polishing to get it out worth a try though…

For 10 bucks you cant really beat any deal like that, just buff out the scratches and it will look just fine in a casual setting
