Thanks. I had done a search for reviews and did find that article. Agreed that 18mm lug width is a negative.

Congrats! I have several of the Pagani Design homages from Ali Express and enjoy them. I have heard many good things about San Martin - several YT reviewers rave about the quality and finishing of San Martin watches.

Thanks! I am really into the higher end Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) watches. This one happens to be a limited edition but most of the other Nexter models can be had for around $500 on eBay.

For an under $200 ana-digi titanium case+ bracelet, consider the CASIO LINEAGE LCW-M100TSE-1AJF:

The higher end JDM watches, such as Seiko Astron, Casio Oceanus, and Citizen Attesa all feature Ti case + bracelet, starting at $500 and up. They all also feature the special AR coating that makes the crystal almost disappear, radio sync, etc.

Tissot PRX but not black

There are so many microbrands these days that it is hard to keep up. They look nice but they don't offer a chronograph. Swiss made and looks to be good quality with a 5 year warranty. For a military watch, there is a specific spec they have to meet. I don't see anything on their site indicating they actually meet US or EU military specifications (perhaps I just missed it). For example, the Apple Watch Ultra has been designed to meet MIL-STD 810H. Marathon, Garmin, CWC, and others offer watches that meet military specifications.
