Full titanium watch checkpoint

Hi watch crunchers, I want to buy a full titanium case and bracelet watch. I know about the two Oris in the images, the Seamaster James Bond, and of course the Pelagos and the green dial Tag Aquaracer. What other great ones am I missing. Please do attach pictures if you have. Thanks

How about the Omega Speedmaster Professional X33 SkyWalker?

It's a quartz watch, but with some great features and insane accuracy. I've had mine for 209 days (as per one of the phase elapsed timers), during which time it has gained only 2 seconds.

A step down from the others, but I like this.

I was going to say the SARX55 and the snowflake as some iconic Ti options. The 55 is a crazy good value.

My Ti is the Prospex LX , which is super obscure and basically unheard of.  But f-it:  I nominate The Prospex LX!! 😃

Image

All the other LXs are all Ti as well!

Zelos has a titanium 40mm Swordfish available in a  few different colorways, and the bracelet has quick-adjust.

If it's the GS, I'll definitely bid.

At a much cheaper price point, there's the Casio Lineage LCW-M100TS. There's also the Oceanus S100 at a higher price point than that.

·

The Seiko LX series is definitely worth a look. They're large watches, but they wear well despite their size and thanks to being made of titanium, they're a lot lighter than they look. With spring drive movements and beautiful finishing, they're about on par with what you would expect from Grand Seiko and are some of the very best watches you can find in Seiko's Prospex line up.

Here are a few shots of my limited edition LX SNR045

Those are some great options, but might I also suggest the Zelos Swordfish 40mm which I think is a great watch for the price. Do keep in mind that I believe the rotating bezel is ceramic, but the rest of the watch is all titanium. Other watches could also include the Longines Spirit Titanium Anthracite, Mido Ocean Star 200C Titanium or Oris Aquis Date

This was just on sale on Reddit for $6k. I was so tempted, but owning a snowflake (sbga211) and a mistflake (sbge285) would just seem like owning two of the same pieces, albeit the mistflake is, obviously, a gmt watch. I’m sure I’ll regret not getting the mistflake at the great price of $6k.

I‘ve been considering trading my Skyflake (SBGA407) in for one. But my Skyflake was my first big purchase and a 40th birthday gift to myself, so I’m having a hard time parting ways with it.

IMHO, the Skyflake is one of the best looking dress watches ever. There are more prestigious dress watches, sure, but they don’t look as good. Then again, I’m a GS fanboy. You should put it up on #wruw , so I can behold the beauty that is the Skyflake.

I do when I wear it for sure. But just to share, here are a few shots 🙂

Thank you, sir. I love the subtle sky blue. I didn’t think the bracelet would fit on it, but the bracelet works well.

I love it with the bracelet, makes it more of a daily wear-er.

Grand Seiko gives you a ton of options.  If you haven't seen Zaratsu in person in Titanium it's worth looking into . If you want a Spring Drive but maybe not GS quite yet the LX lineup is awesome

The Omega Aqua Terra Good Planet in Titanium is beautiful

Can't forget about older Citizen and Seiko as well! These are just a couple examples, but they both have a long list with lots of variety in design.

Mido Ocean Star Titanium. 42.5mm Case dia. 11.75mm Thickness on my 7 3/4" wrist 80 hours of power reserve.

·

A great number of Citizen models, especially the ATTESA models that are JDM.

Citizen's proprietary tech makes the Titanium damn near impossible to scratch.

RZE does titanium well but the coating has a strange feel to it.

·

My favorite.

For $160 you get a titanium case (ultra light and nice on the skin), solar powered, sapphire crystal (for scratch resistance), radio controlled (always on time), digital timers, 5 alarms, day date, world time and an orange LED light (easy on the eyes at night which is really important to me). Sizing is perfect in my opinion. 9mm thick, 44mm lug to lug, 38mm case (40mm wide when including the button guards). And it's only 28g (1oz) with an ultra flat/wide caseback so comfort is amazing. And it comes in around 20 different versions. It's pretty much the most feature packed high spec watch ever (especially if you care about titanium which I do).

The bracelet is pretty crap in my opinion but some people don't mind it.

I think Phoibos have a few in titanium but I don't remember which models exactly. Great looking watches in my opinion.
