Book Recommendations!

I’ve been interested in watches and horology for years now, but all of my research and learning has come from online resources. I’ve recently started buying physical books, and would love recommendations to add to my shelf!

I know they can get absurdly expensive, so I would prefer to keep it around $100 max!

Thank you in advance!

P.S. these two books are great!

"A Man and His Watch" is a favorite. I've also enjoyed "Chasing Time: Wristwatches for the Discerning Collector"

The coffee table books have me feeling pressured to have a full bookcase at all times!

My favorite watch book is without a doubt "The Wristwatch Handbook" by Ryan Schmidt. It's a great coffee table book with lots of great photos, and tons of information. I picked up my copy about 5 years ago when I first started collecting, and found it to be invaluable in providing a great foundation of knowledge. Back in 2018, it cost $65 CAD, which is an absolute bargain.

Exactly the kind of book I’m looking for! And it’s still right at that price on Amazon! Thanks!
