What are your thoughts on the font of the display in a Casio G-Shock?

I find myself thinking that the font of the date and time in a G-Shock needs an update. I'm assuming there are constraints to this depending on the type of display used LCD or LED? In my opinion, the font on the GBD-200 feels a bit more well rounded and easier on the eyes when compared to the font on the AE1200 or DW5600/5040. What would your choice be?

I'd be more impressed if they updated it to occupy more of the vast expanse of wasted space that comprises the average Casio digital dial.

If it stays how it is one knows where to look at for the date. On the other hand a new way of displaying would give a fresher, somehow newer look. But it really don t matter for me

A seven-segment LCD display and a literally pixelated MIP (Memory In Pixel) display are very much apples and oranges. They are different technologies, with the latter being more recent.

Be happy that the classic digital has that slightly slanted lean to it instead of being totally rectilinear blockiness.

Bigger if anything like Timex did and add Indiglo because that rocks.

Changing the font on a 25 dollar watch display will make it no longer a 25 dollar watch.

Timex has a patent on Indiglo tech. and I doubt they're eager to share.
