✨️My Watch Year 2022✨️

Welcome Watchfam for my conclusion on my watch year 2022.

Man,what a year! I bought my first expensive watch,my first automatic,found my love for Tissot,became a watchcrunch member and all over all found my way back to the watchworld.

It was my best watch year till date. Also in comparison to 2021 my wealth grew and money for watches became a relative number. Back in 21 a 200€ watch was a big deal already.

The Purchases:

#1 Tissot PRX blue dial quartz

I bought this watch in may after my 6 weeks business stay in Munich. It was my first more expensive swiss watch in full steal,integrated bracelett and my first Tissot as well. Love it.

#2 Swatch Twice again

After a hardcore barnight for the Robbie Williams concert in the summer i had a few bucks tip money in my pocket. In 2021 my all day everyday watch was the swatch once again in 34 mm. It was also my first swiss watch ever. Changing my taste to bigger watches in general and gifting it to my mum, i missed it terribly. So with the money in my pocket i went to the city and bought my new biosourced swatch "Twice again" at the swatchstore. This watch is not  the best ever made,but it has a lot of sentimental value for me and i will love it forever.

#3 Swatch Sistem51 Through again

Leaving Munich a few days later i spent my holiday in Berlin visiting family and looking for watches. This peace already catched my eye in Munich. So while on train i made a reservation for it in the swatchstore Berlin and picked it up one day later. Back in the early days a 200€ watch was a big deal,i had to worry about service cost and durability and so in the end it always became quartz. This watch marks the end of this era. It is a beauty,allthough you can never catch it in a picture,you really have to see it in person.

#4 Tissot Seastar 2000 Turkise Dial

Browsing at a watchstore i discoverd this beauty. I never liked the Seastar 1000 series but the 2000 series immediatly conquered my hearth. Since i saw this watch,i was not able to get it out of my mind. Many many painful waiting months later i bought it at my AD and made a great deal. The dial is stunning,not to meantion the specs,also in combination with the yellow rubber. For me it is absolut clear,that i don't need and probably won't buy another dive watch.

#5 Tissot Lelocle Whitedial

Searching for a classic mens dresswatch at a reasonable price i found this. Let's be honest nobody needs a specmonster for office. So i bought for christmas dinner and fell in love with it. For me it takes a lot of the old watchmaking spirit and and combines it with modern craftmanship and technologie. The dial is beautiful and remindes me a bit of Breguet. The watch is also antimagnetic,witch is necessary for the office in my eyes. I admit having a soft spot for whitedial dress watches and this watch well: Bullseye!

#6 Casioak Solar Yellow

Already owning a Casioak i now upgraded it on the solar version. It will be 1 of the 3 travel watches i will take with me next year and it has to do its job and it sure will. The Casioak is my favorite G-shock of all time,but i already know it really well,so this watch is not a big suprise. The Bluetooth and the solar are great features and it will get a lot of wristime.

So these are my purchases of 2022 and i finally managed to get "A man and his watch" for my shelf.

For 2023 the first purchase is already there and i only have to pick it up; i'm already really exited.
