Decided to treat myself!

With recently attending British Watchmakers Day, and not finding any watches I liked within my budget (I’m looking at you William Wood Fire Escape!) i decided to treat myself to a watch that’s been on my list since the day it was announced.

Probably my last BIG watch purchase of the year due to saving for other things. Will probably treat myself to a watch for my birthday in May… but not one at this price.

Anywhos, this thing is purely stunning! I have had it about 3 days now and have loved every minute I’ve worn it so far. This thing feels like it can take a serious beating, and at +3 seconds a day… it’s also packing some accuracy.

One big thing I’ve found with this model is the fact it is a complete strap monster! That much to the point i am thinking of picking up a few more NATO straps on payday!

The screw down crown and Anti Reflective coating on the sapphire glass is a huge upgrade over my Khaki Field Automatic… but it feels different enough for me.

This thing will probably get a lot of wrist time for a while (that honeymoon period) especially with experimenting with straps more!
