Finally home from British Watchmakers Day

Only just got through the door home after a 5hr trip home. What a great day it was today to be at my first watch show, definitely won’t be the last! I’m clearly the worst when it comes to taking photos compared to everyone else’s posts on here 😂. I’m more of a see it in the moment person than a camera man. Actually didn’t walk away with a watch today… as Christopher Ward weren’t selling any 😢.

Got to see some incredible watches today though!!

Some of my favourites were:

  • Roger Smith and his Series 1 for BWD

  • Nomadic and their Turas 914

  • Christopher Ward with their new Dune GMT

  • Freese Watches and their industrial field watch.

  • William Wood and the Fire escape (probably my most memorable watch of the whole show!)

  • Studio Underdog and the Pizza Watch!

Like I said, didn’t pick up a watch today so currently resisting to order a watch that’s on my wish list now I have the loose funds floating around 😂. It’s between a Hamilton Khaki Expedition or a Tissot PRX 35mm Gold Quartz. Would pick up a Christopher Ward… however it’s now on preorder for a bit with the model I’m after 🥲.

Was great to see so many people and have chats with some such as Andrew from Time & Tide as well as Adrian from Bark & Jack!

Got stopped a few times too today as people wanted to see the Lorier Hyperion Skyward on the wrist! (Go Lorier!!)

Anywhos, ramble over now so thanks for reading!!!

Thanks for sharing your experience, looks like you did not come away completely empty handed!

And that is a very pretty Lorier
