Gifts for the family from a watch nerd
My family were only going to expect one thing from me for Xmas - a watch!
So this is what I got for the family this year, after months of research.
My dad got an open heart Bulova. I am trying to get my dad into watches and as he is into mechanical things, he finds seeing the movement from the dial and also the rear fascinating. The Bulova went down well.
I got my mum a Seiko Presage. Mum is a fan of the dial and how it changes when it catches the light. I need to show my mum how to wind it and the basics of an automatic watch ( it is her first) but she likes it.
Finally, I got my sister her first, real watch (aside from those silly Apple Smartwatches). I went for a Quartz as I thought an automatic might be a bit too much. It is simple and clean and a good size for her wrist.
