I've had a couple of these Milanese style mesh bracelets. They really have the worst clasp I've come across. So fiddly to put on. I know there are companies like Staib that sell them with a more standard clasp but for like quadruple the price of the ones I have. I'll probably pick one up somewhere down the line. Anyone else hate this style clasp?

Ugh, the little hook bends a tad or the pin that it catches on bends and it's all downhill from there. You can play games tweaking it, but it's never going to be great, not that it was from the beginning. Pretty sure these are what the cheapo Casio digitals use too.
Absolutely! But I love the look of a good Milanaise! I bought a Staib a few years ago and put it on my Sinn 104. It’s a match made in heaven and the Staib bracelets are great down to the clasp!
It’s this one, in case you’re interested: https://www.stowa.de/en/Milanaise+metalstrap.htm
Believe it or not, you'll adapt to it in no time. Once you get the hang of it, it'll be a snap. 👍
I've never had a problem with it.
If you go on Aliexpress, you can find tons and tons of Omega-style mesh bracelets. I hate the clasps on the traditional mesh bracelets as well, and this has been my solution.

Ooh I might look into these

They aren't pretty but they are the most adjustable clasp you can have. I've got used to them and really appreciate them during the summer months
I haven't had much experience with them. But the mesh bracelets I have worn were very comfy!
Ah yes, that takes me back. That type of clasp is used extensively down stream. They're OK to use and once you get the hang, easy to adjust. First watch I had with this was a Skagen as I recall. Probably still do someplace aroiund here. 😂
You describe it perfectly man, really like the vintage-y look of the milanese mesh, but I definitely am not a big fan of their fit
I have multiple watches on this style bracelet. Personally, never had an issue. Maybe I’m just use to it.
It is also easy to drop the watch if you think it caught and it didn't. Invest in the better quality stuff, especially if you love your watch.
