It really does matter. A local shopping center has a Rolex boutique and an IWC boutique. One I went to a couple times, one associate mildly cold but at least helpful, another one is just not nice. The other boutique is the opposite, welcoming, helpful no matter who you talk to, encouraging you to check out what they have. Can you guess which is which?

It wasn't that I just chose to buy an IWC because they were friendly and helpful, but I'd say that was one of a few catalysts to learn more about the brand, experience the watches on wrist. And then the next thing you know I bought a watch from them. And I don't think it will be the last one I buy from them.

Great review! I also put my name down on release day, it arrived in November. In addition to your likes, I'd add the finishing. I have a BB58 which has more polished bits, but the quality of the brushed surfaces and crisp edges on the Ranger really give it the feeling of a precision tool that doesn't show in flat stock photos. The crown also has the same style teeth as the BB58, but somehow has much more grip. And as you said, the T-Fit is awesome and really adds comfort and usability- snug when I don't want it to move around during a run, loose when it's warm or if I want to sleep with it on.

To the dislikes, on my ~6 3/8" wrist the BB58 wears perfect, this definitely wears larger due to the larger dial/bezel ratio. I feel like a half mm wider bezel ring would nail the proportions, or a 1mm smaller case, but that's just for me, and it's still a keeper.
