My friend and I have very different watch tastes too -- he loves dive watches and bracelets and I'm really partial to chronographs on a simple strap. At least we can both agree on field watches! And fun Casios. I agree with you that it does make for interesting conversations, and makes us more knowledgeable about the watch world in general!
