Should I go for the long strap?

I need a chocolate racing strap but the one I want isn’t available in standard length. Only “long.”

I have a 7.5”ish wrist. The standard covers 6”-8” and the long covers 7”-9”. Manufacturer has no eta on the standard coming back in stock and they’re OOS everywhere. Other mfgs are either way too pricey or also OOS.

Do I just jump for the long one? I know it’ll fit, but how bad is all that extra strap? It’s also half the price which is nice…

Buy it, and try it. Just make sure they have a good return policy. I like buying mine from Amazon so I can just return it if it doesn’t fit right… I currently have 4 to take to the return drop off, lol.

I use the long versions from Barton for my 7.25” wrist and they work well. You want to have enough extra length to use both keepers.

I went ahead and bought the long one. Corresponded with their customer service dept and I have a year to swap with a standard if it doesn’t work. Makes for an easy decision.

Agreed, Barton tends to run small, which is good for me, but I would imagine anyone with a wrist larger than my 6.5” would need a long strap from them.
