Perlons for my Nomos Club

Some time ago, I got my Nomos Club as my first highly expensive watch.

However, the stock leather strap was way too formal and the NATO from my Timex Expedition North Field, which I used on it for a while, lacked matching hardware. As such, I decided to get some new straps.

I ended up ordering 5 perlon straps from Crown and Buckle alongside glossy buckles for each. The total, including import taxes, ended up being about 150€.

The straps arrived last week and I have been wearing and swapping between them. They are easy to swap and change the feel of the watch successfully. The textured look also really suits the watch and provides nice contrast to the plain dial.

My favourites

Frankly I like how they all look, but I do have favourites, which ended up surprising me.

I originally thought that the grey would look the best, but in reality my favourites are the green ones. For some reason they complement the watch really well.

Which one is your favourite?

Dark green.

It’s given it a nice vintage vib. I thought the club came on a nice suede strap? I tried one on before Xmas and it had a great casual look

Nope, it came on a leather. Maybe there is a version with a suede strap, but that's not what I got.

Red looks good, picks up on the hand colour a little.
