Flea market question

Hi, today I saw this omega at a flea street market in Nice. The price tag was 609€, but the man in charge of the "store" told me he could do 450€. What do you think?

The watch was working.

I would say that seems to be a fair deal provided you like the watch, though I have a few questions that would turn this into a sweet deal. Box and papers?

Price is fair especially if you like the style of watch, that bracelet is a problem if it doesn’t fit your wrist as is condition. Extra links might be troublesome to source.

Very nice porthole Connie!

Just bought a previous model , the Mariner 1

The movement is very hard to get repaired due to shortage of spares, and bracelet parts for this age are virtually non existent (that's why mine is on an aftermarket Seiko Pogue bracelet).

Old Omega quartz are cheap for a reason.

If that's working ok that's a very good price, I paid £400 for mine as a non runner ,it's currently being fixed, will post pics and a write up when I get it back .

Personally I'd buy it.

Good Luck 👍

Looks pretty scuffed. I would personally pass, and wouldn't pay more than 350 for it in that condition if I decided to take the risk.

Price seems great
