Casio Duro bracelet

Just swapped out the default strap with a bracelet on my marlin. Wears a lot better with a bracelet in my opinion (as compared to the factory strap)

Which bracelet did you choose?

just picked one up from a local watch store. there are a bunch of good options available on aliexpress though. however I believe any 22mm bracelet would work, depending on your liking

This is what I want to do, when the funds allow, I want to change the strap, and put a sapphire crystal.

yup. stock bezel. the bracelet is the only aftermarket thing on it

The Duro pictured below has been modded with a sapphire crystal and I later added a cyclops. This jubilee bracelet is from LIW and has solid end links with a milled clasp and cost more than the Duro. 😀

The movement in this watch was taken out of the black bezel model and put into the Batman bezel version so as to have a red second hand instead of the blue one (which I broke during an attempted mod as you’ll see below). 🙄

Look Mom! No second hand! 😀

This Duro was once filled with silicone oil. After developing a bubble a few times, I decided to empty the oil from the watch and inadvertently broke the second hand. 🙄

Then I added a red second hand from Esslinger and put it on a cheapie bracelet from AliExpress.

Next, I‘ll order a sapphire crystal (this time with cyclops already on it) and put that on. I also have a set of Mercedes-styled hands to apply when the mood hits me.

The Duro is just a fun watch to mod because the worry factor is very low. If you end up breaking them (which I’ve done twice), you can just get another one or replace parts if you can. 👍

Totally agree. Great watch to get your modding fix. Cheers for sharing your experience with everyone here. I quite like the all red second hand. And that jubilee bracelet from LIW looks great!
