Is it too small? Maybe for some watch geeks, but the dial is exceptional.

Are these not 37mm? That seems mid size to me if so. Either way, you are quite right, it is an exceptional dial. Very affordable too! 👌

Yeah lug to lug is quite short, but I think it's a good size and would suit most wrist sizes
I feel like it deserves a much better case. The dial is great but 19mm lug width and a UFO case doesn't do it justice.

I agree, there are older Seiko 5's that have better cases. And 19 or 21mm lug widths are pain in the a...
Gorgeous dial. IMO, for this kind of dressy style watch, 37mm is about perfect for all but the chunkiest of wrists. On my average 7" wrist, 37mm watches look great with a NATO or a bracelet.

Excellent. Also, I find that a jubilee bracelet makes this SNXS look better proportion-wise as the attention flows only into the bracelet and dial
6.3” wrist here and every day more convinced that 37-38 mm is my sweet spot. This range of Seiko 5 watches suits me like a glove.

The old Seiko 5 dial are so cool
Sometimes small is good. I was wearing this same watch today making Thanksgiving dinner - a small beater - but a good looking one.
