My SNK series Seiko, I invested an afternoon into polishing the case up. Anyone else done anything like this?
IMO it's a small change but worth it.

No,no, a thousand times no.
IMO high polish is reserved for foo-foo dress watches.
If you have a highly polished field, tool diver, etc watch then you are in a world of trouble down the road.
If you simply utter the word " scratch" within hearing distance of a polished watch it will dsevelop scratches.
I was just wondering how it would look like all shiny! Kinda cool IMO. Good job on that polishing

Eh I don't mind it getting scratched. It's never going to be a super fancy watch, it's just fun.

Cheers!
I like it! Nice for a change. I like the original blasted finish as well. You could always brush it if you feel like a change later on.
Great job. Don't stop there , go for hands and a cool Nato if you like. Tons of stuff out there for Seiko. have fun
Went the opposite way with this 'Adventure' watch.

Nice finishing 👏
I've done it on a Seiko pilot watch and it's a nice contrast with the brushes mid case. Do what you love, make something unique 👏👏
How did you do it? And is it a method that would work for the small scratches I got on my Lunar Pilot crown?

Hi HaydVan. I used a Dremel, some soft cotton polishing wheel attachments for it, and some metal polish. Took about an hour or so or start seeing the effect.
