Watches and Wardrobe Pt. 3 (Summer Casual Edition)
Summer's almost gone, but here are some looks I have accrued over the past few months. Summer of course, lends itself to casual looks so I'll be focusing on that this time around.
Orient Mako II
Summer = beaches and of course for many of us, a dive watch.
Citizen Skyhawk Titanium
I did take the Skyhawk to the beach once too, and I really really loved how the dull gray titanium looked in the sun. Titanium dive watch is now on my radar.
Hamilton Spirit of Liberty Chronograph
Summer's also a great time for dates at a cool cafe, a rolled up long sleeve shirt (preferably in a light weight fabric), chinos, white sneakers with a dressy chronograph.
Cle de Cartier
Band collar shirts are also my favs during the summer, they look just a touch more elegant than t-shirts but also keep the neck area cool. I think they look especially nice in lightweight fabrics such as linen or cotton (or a mix, as above). Maybe a bit too hipster for some though. Regardless, I think it's a perfect way to dress up the outfit without looking too stuffy during the summer, instead of going with a polo shirt.
One thing I guess I want for next summer is a "summer watch". Preferably in titanium, preferably something louder in colour or design. Do you have a summer watch? Do you only wear it in the summer?
