Personally I'd say it's pushing it just ever so slightly. But as everyone here says you should go for it anyways if you love it.
If you're really looking to try a 42 mm Pelagos - may I suggest you try on either the first generation model the 25500TN (which admittedly is trickier to find these days) as it's slightly slimmer with the ETA movement or the recently released FXD?
I choose the Pelagos mainly because I love the final "spring" setting on the bracelet & how comfortable it wears + the titanium construction making what's normally a big chunky watch more than viable for a GADA piece (at least for me)
I also tend to just keep track of other time zones through my phone anyways so a GMT function isn't a priority for me. It's sure a great alternative to a Pepsi though.
