*CASIO DURO BRACELETS* Appreciate the effort this man puts out for the watch community

Long Island Watch just released a couple of solid bracelets at $59 for the Casio Duro due to a lot of requests.

Two styles- Jubilee and Oyster.

Cost more than the watch....

·

They do cost more yes, but viable options and guarantee you the whole watch would not be $50 US if it came stock with a crappier bracelet. Probably not even solid end links.

So $49 + $59 = $108 US. I'm betting we see Casio come out with their version, without solid end links at $139-ish mas o menos.

Just my .02, YMMV. 🤘🏻🤙🏻

Casio already has a replacement bracelet for the MDV106 models that cost $25-30. But the bracelet is rolled links similar to the one you find on the AE1200. They are quite expensive to find now through eBay.

Aliexpress offers bracelets for $10-25 that claim to fit the watch but from my experience, the endlinks never fit the watch correctly and rattle quite a bit plus leave a big gap at the edges. Or you have to fiddle with pliers to fit the endlinks nicely.

This bracelet from long island gives you solid endlinks and a very good quality bracelet, it is good to know there is a quality option out there if you are looking for one.

I think I will get one. Marc is doing the watch community a good service. I hope he sells a shed load.

I will be also getting one when I order an Islander watch so I can negate the shipping fee just for one bracelet.

Nice alternative to StrapCode. Mine cost 2X the watch lol.

Thought many times of upgrading my SNKL bracelet for a proper one from Uncle Straps, but then I stop and think it’s rather ridiculous buying a $75 bracelet (+ $14 international shipping) for a $110 watch.

Agreed. Sorry if it came across as against the option? Meant to mean yes it is more expensive than the watch, but a fair deal considering how well it appears to be made vs other options.

Good on him. I have nothing but nice things to say about Marc. That said, I have my Duro on a super-deluxe black and grey Bond nato, and it looks incredible. Ridiculous, really, but it does. I aint changing! :)

Nothing to say sorry about. I was just mentioning about the options the options out there for the Casio now. The popularity Duro has led to quality options out there.

If the Duro like entry Casio models with brass case, then this bracelet would make no sense. But the Duro really punches above the weight for a $50 watch.

For the price, I was not impressed with the bracelet I bought from Island for my citizen pro master. I hope my experience was unique but the security clasp is weak, the connections from the bracelet to the clasp are wobbly and it was a bear to install. I’d love to hear experiences with these once folks receive them.

I bought a $20 jubi bracelet from Amazon, of course without solid end links, but it looks pretty darn good. I put it on my Duro that I have been modding over the past few months, and I have to say, it is a great looking package all considered.

I recently added a ceramic bezel insert as well.

I bought an Ali Express bracelet for around £10 delivered. Is it good, not really, but it gives the watch the look I wanted, namely a bracelet, and it's functional, even has a Duro on the clasp! For a £50 watch I'm not going to be spending around the same again on a bracelet, but each to their own.

I have seen the same one a few times before while I was browsing the app. How good is the etching in the clasp? I thought about getting one, but having a marlin logo on the dial, case back and clasp would possibly be overkill.

Aside from the 2 bracelets that LIW offers lespecially for the Duro, the bracelet they offer for the Seiko SKX 007 also fits the Duro.

I’m also very pleased with bracelets LIW offered for the Citizen Promaster series. I bought both the Oyster and the Jubilee and the look and comfort are very good.

Highly recommend this bracelet. Installed on my Duro and it looks great!!!
