Odd choice of name. Apparently they were duds.

Full realizing that the vast majority of dive watch owners never get near the water these 50/50 bezels on a "dive style" watch still make me ask "why?"

They reached their “Charge Depth”

I never heard of them. I just did a Google search and found different places that sell them.

Not existing is the goal of every depth charge, affer all!

Many of these brands and the stuff from sites like WatchGang are just generally sourced pieces from various private labels kicked out at an affordable price with different names. They come up with new names to keep it fresh. Most fade away, other times they turn into brands like San Martin.

They never really blew up

I'm not surprised if they have disappeared.

I bought 2 when they came out and the experience couldn't have been worse. 12 o'clock Pip unglued, horribly misaligned bezel, really bad polished surfaces, very sharp edges everywhere...

In short, very poorly executed watches.

Luckily I got them from Amazon UK, so they went back straight away.

Weren't they one of the early generation of fly-by-night Chinese watch "brands?" I think there were quite a few like this that came and went, all with similar designs and components; it's only pretty recently we've been seeing proper fledgling watch brands coming out of China

I believe these were Watch shops own in house brand. I bought the above watch as my first automatic watch three years ago for around £100. As an introduction to automatic watches it wasn't that bad for the price. Lyme pip did fall off but I reattached it. Bezel action was pretty solid and the fit and finish was not that bad for the price. Semi decent bracelet with solid links and a milled scissor and pressed clasp. I still wear it occasionally as a beater.
