Sinn 556i or Hamilton Murph 38?

I want to buy another watch and it should be black. It also should be wearable in the office as well as in my leisure time. The ideal size for me is 38-39mm. My budget is ca. 1000€.
My current favorites are the Sinn 556i and the Hamilton Murph 38.
I like the Sinn 556i for it's simplicity and because I still have no German made watch in my collection. The used price is around 850-900€ on a bracelet. I would choose the "i" version because it has a glossy dial (the "a" version is matte).
The Murph on the other hand seems more playful because of the cathedral hands and I like the movie connection. The used prices are around 750-800€.
So please help me by giving your opinions on these two! And of course you can suggest alternatives!

Do you mean quality-wise? And would this imply that the Hamilton is overpriced (because of the movie)?

Sinn is simply a better made more solid watch and it resells easier in case you need to sell it ..check watchuseek forums and other watch forums ...hamilton is ok too not saying its not but if you like hamilton design better get that ..im personally not impressed by Hamilton .i acquired a Hamilton xcopter once and it was over 1500.00 not impressed with the watch sold it ..others swear by Hamilton ...Sinn is a Brand recognized for its quality ..
Sinn is a better watch, but I’ve never been able to not see the top hat crown as anything but not proportioned.
Both great pieces. I have a Sinn 104 matte about 3yrs now and it's rugged, versatile and accurate with no real negative issues. I swim alot and the Hamilton doesn't have enough water resistance for that. Barely enough to wash your hands really. I've never seen a Sinn model in the movies though. The thing is to try both on and see which one is right for you. Enjoy
