Can anyone speak to the quality and reliability of this piece? I haven’t seen much about this brand.

I am not sure about that model, but I have another piece of their’s and will state they are very well made and use reliable movements. I would shop around and look for a deal if you like it.
I’ve tried them on before they definitely felt quality
Montblanc make quality watches but they seem to tank in value from retail and I haven’t found one that I’ve truly loved. I would only consider buying second hand if I found the right one.
I have a Montblanc geosphere 1858 and its really great, they have a own house caliber named Minerva and the quality is really high👍🏻
Montblanc primarily make luxury pens, and their watches also have a good reputation.
