Felca 25 jewel oddity

Dear all, you have proven to be a font of knowledge in the past and I’m hoping to pick your brains once again.

I have just purchased a job lot from auction and initially thought this piece was just some sort of advertising piece, then I realised that the figure on the watch is that of the late Gadaffi!

looking into the brand it is a fairly established Swiss brand and apparently still independen. They primarily sell watches in the Middle East and Asia and now trade under the brand TITONI. It also uses quite a nice ETA movement and it appears that the strap is genuine to the piece.

My question is: I can’t find another watch like this, I can find the model but not one with a former Lybian president on it? Would this have been how it was purchased, it doesn’t appear to be customised and does anyone know anymore history on this paticular piece?

Thanks for all your help as always

Felca and Titoni (same company, they just sell them as one or the other in diffrent continent, or it used to be in the 20th century) are a bit like Atlantic watches, very big in certain parts of the world, almost unknown outside of it.
