An Oyster bracelet for my 36mm watch

So I've been considering switching out my 36mm Everest's Tudor-style bracelet for an Oyster type band. I'm really drawn to the gradual taper of those bracelets, and I think they would fit the Smiths' vintage aesthetic better.

Aftermarket 20mm options abound, but they're all advertised as being for Submariners, and though some Chinese suppliers I've contacted say that these should fit my watch, I'm not 100% certain that the circumference of the end links would match.

Do we have any resident bracelet experts here who can confirm whether this is really possible? I know that the Submariner's bezel extends a bit beyond the case itself, but I can't find measurements of the watch without the bezel.

Thanks in advance for any inputs -- or leads, for that matter!

A few times I’ve fit a bracelet to a watch it wasn’t intended for I use a dremel tool with a fine stone. Doesn’t really answer your specific question, but for around $25 you can make it fit quite well.

Uncle Seiko and Forstner bands make some great choices. If you want fitted end links that may be more of an issue (and I'll let others weigh in) but you should be able to source an oyster bracelet with straight end links pretty easily.

Oof, I don't think I'm brave enough to do (precise) machine work! But I'll keep this in mind as a last resort 😅

Agree, they do make some good-looking bracelets, but yes, I would prefer fitted end-links. It's surprising how difficult they are to find!
