The one that *almost* got away

Good morning from Manila, Philippines!

I just missed out on buying this beautiful Seiko 5 Worn & Wound 10th Anniversary LE brand new since I waited a few minutes too long to check out my cart on release day.

Finally got hold of a used one almost a year later and paid a little over MSRP, but I still think it's worth every dollar. Better late than never!

I want to say what I learned is that if a watch calls out to you, get it right away, but that sounds like a dangerous way of thinking 😅

Great picture!

My story is EXACTLY the same...except for used and the waiting a year part. Paid a hair over MSRP for new in the box.

As long as it's working and something you want, why not!

Awesome photo 👍 and I'm glad you got it after all. Hate that feeling when one gets away, and yes, you often pay more later. But at least you got it!

Thank you! And yes, worst that can happen is it doesn't live up to expectations, and you sell it on

Thanks! And no regrets having to shell out a little more for something I really wanted :)

The want was clearly strong all those months later!
