So being a recent newbie to WatchCrunch and the watch collecting online world, state of the collection is something new to me. I like the concept of showing evolution of your collection over the years.
So here is my first #sotc post:
Casio Royale World Time
I love this watch. It’s one of the best value watches out there and looks amazing.
Casio A168
Another classic from Casio. Looks great, and serves its purpose as an everyday watch very well.
Armitron Griffy
My new addition, the Armitron Griffy! I think the retro look is awesome. Simple geeky looking watch.
Esquire 300670
This was the first nice watch ever gifted to me for my Confirmation in Grade 8 by my grandmother. It’s a nice dress watch.
Fossil BQ1007
This is the first watch I ever bought myself on a whim, maybe 10 years ago. I was in a Fossil store looking for a nice messenger bag as I had just landed my first real architecture job out of school. I saw this watch in the display case and it just spoke to me.
PAGANI Design PD-1782
A relatively new purchase. I was looking for some affordable but decent watches to quench my insatiable thirst for adding to my collection. This PAGANI Design Watch is actually decent quality for the money. I’m happy with the purchase.
Tayroc Iconic TY1
I bought this watch during Covid. I was looking for an affordable dress watch but this chronograph stood out to me. I had it in the cart for a few days before Tayroc sent me a 50% code. So I went with it. It’s much nicer in person and didn’t break the bank. I love the blue second hand.
SteelDive 1953
Another relatively new purchase from Ali Express, the SteelDive 1953. An homage watch I know, but for the money, the quality is good and let’s face it, I probably won’t ever have enough for the real deal Rolex. I’m happy with this purchase and it looks great on wrist.
SteelDive 1970
Same as the SteelDive 1953 above, I picked up this homage watch for relatively cheap. But the quality is good and I’m happy with it.
Casio Duro Marlin
Probably my favourite watch in this box. I love the look and feel. Works awesome as an everyday beater but also cleans up nice for a night out with a steel bracelet.
Unknown Watch
I picked up this watch either from eBay or Ali Express. Don’t know much about it other than I thought it looked cool with the elegant skeleton style and leather strap.
Sinobi S9372G
This watch was gift from my aunt. She thought it was unique and knew I liked watches. I’m pretty sure it’s from Wish.
Faux-lex
My dad had this in his collection. He doesn’t remember where he got it but knows it a fake. I don’t wear it but I have it…
Tayroc Storm TY140
Another Covid purchase with discount codes from Tayroc. I was looking for a minimal dark style dress watch and this fit the bill.
Timex Weekender
Probably my second favourite watch to wear. It was cheap, it’s loud and it’s great for everyday wear. It can get beat up and the strap is comfortable.
Seiko 7005-7130
This was my dads watch from the 70s. He wore it until he cracked the screen. It’s scratched and beat up but technically still functions. It’s in need of service.
Apple Watch Series 5
This was the watch that paused my watch collecting. I wore this during Covid to stay active and I like tech. Well now it’s battery is 💩 but works well as a workout tracker.
Update January 27th:
Casio G-Shock GM2100
Probably my favourite watch right now.
Update: February 8th
Serica 4512: A beautiful watch with an awesome California dial.

Nice collection, congrats!
Nice collection, congrats!
Thanks!
Very nice collection I can appreciate the variety
Great collection. Never say never. When I started I would say I was ok with watches under 200 - 300 blah, blah. Then you will see that one watch for 400. Ok that one and no more. Then you see another for 600 and repeat. The good thing many microbrands are making many "affordable" options to expensive counter parts under 600.

You are right. I already have my eye on a Seiko Cocktail Time and a Hamilton Khaki Field. I appreciate the comment.

LOL I'm the same way. I recommend checking used in good condition I bought some good deals buying used.
Also set up alerts and eBay sends you daily emails about new posted watches getting first dibs on the deals.
I get emails like this:
Just always buy the seller not the watch. Stay away from watches from India, Ukraine and some places in South America, they sell franken watches or pocket watched modded to look like watches from "ww2"
Man, you have some absolute bangers there! Nice connection!
