Top contender for 50$?

This watch makes me reconsider my more expensive watches.... An impuls buy while looking for a diver for my son.

Chronograph with tachymeter, telemeter and pulsometer, all ran by a miyota movement. Very unique design from an old budget brand. The domed crystal, busy dial, cool but legible markers alongside the colors and drilled markers in the bezel makes this a very interesting watch to me. Also the SpeedStar text is printed on the underside of the mineral crystal 😊 Funky.

It's not perfect, but not far from it either. 100m WR is more than enough. And the hands pretty much hits all markers. The biggest knock is that the cheap rubber strap is clearly from to different batches og production. One of the peices is smooth the other has a rugged surface and the placement of the "waves" is on different spots. But I wouldn't have used the strap even if it was great so I don't mind. It is a bit big (41mm), but that makes it easier to use the chrono-functions.

This watch is 30 times cheaper than my second most expensive watch, but I enjoy it almost as much. Which makes me wonder what the hell I have been doing with my money....

You're asking the eternal question of what is "worth it". This is a subjective question but it seems like you're on the right track to find the answer that is right for you.

Great watches. But I don't know if they would give me the feels 🤔 I mean I have owned budget watches before. This one just clicked on another level for me 😊
