The Iconic Seagull movement

I got a link from frog338 and it seemed genuine and ordered it....came today...the packaging is exceptional for a budget watch....sapphire....starting my new collection...one watch...from every country(made in the country).

Enjoy. I love mine.

Love mine too. If you describe it to someone without them seeing it, it sounds like a complete mess, but somehow it all just hangs together brilliantly.

These look so good. And in-house to boot. I think I need one. Well done!

always wanted one. nice movement

Fun watch, looks like the packaging has improved since I bought mine in 2016 (I have the acrylic not sapphire if that makes any difference). Enjoy yours in good health!

I think that’s a great idea for a collection motif - trying it as well!

·

Absolutely gorgeous watch. For some reason I sold mine 🤷🏻‍♂️ Keep thinking about picking another one up!

Seagull 1963 is improving in quality…the care they take to package it and send….is proof of it’s increasing demand…

How much?

I’m thinking of adding one of the Studio Underd0g watches powered by the same movement once they’re back in stock. Such a fun size watch too.

 I remember JOMW had it....the watermelon...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaH4rJP-kIY

I keep thinking about these, and then keep passing them up when I come across them. I’m thinking they are quite prevalent now, which might be why I’m not already an owner?

·

Holy crap! What? How is that US$165? OUTSTANDING!!!

·

Jody on JOMW did a piece on what is a genuine Seagull 1963 and it's fair to say it's not entirely straightforward. I got mine through Amazon in the UK for about £180. The company it came from was Sugess. Came well packaged with two straps, I added a Marine National. Its a column wheel chronograph like a speedy and although not in that league in terms of quality.. it's way above what you could rightly expect at sub £200. I highly recommend... wherever you get yours from.

if wait until they have a sale or collect a few coupons you can normally save a few dollars.

·

I have the Sapphire and the acrylic, love them. I wear the sapphire more often since I don’t have to worry about scratching the crystal but I appreciate the slightly more vintage vibe of the acrylic. Can’t go wrong either way.
