What should be my next chronograph?

Hi. I have been wanting to add another chronograph to my small collection. I am torn between the two, the Bulova Lunar Pilot and the Tissot T0554271101700 PRC 200. I have been eyeing the Tissot for the longest time, but the weird thing is, there aren’t Youtube reviews about it. But I do like how it looks. I am just not sure how I would feel about its thickness in the long run, but I did have the opportunity to try it on my wrist and it was okay, at least for the couple of minutes I had it in the store. I also would want even just a single Swiss-made watch in my collection. On the other hand, I like the Lunar Pilot because of its history. I love how it looks despite it being a little big for me. However, I do want a mechanical/automatic chronograph, I already have the Seiko SSC813, and this is what is holding me back from purchasing it. However, if I consider bang for the buck, the Lunar Pilot seems to be the better choice between the two. So I am asking for your opinion on which watch I should get? Thanks! :)

My advise is to wait a bit for the release of the Bulova 43mm Lunar pilot before you decide.

The auto tissot has a very cheap chronograph movement. I think maybe the quartz bulova but i find quartz very very hard to sell and the dropoff from new would be around 40 to 50 percent? straight away.

I'm not a fan of chronographs but between these two watches i would go for the Tissot. The dial is more esthetically pleasing and i like the date window at 3 or 6 o'clock (not a fan of the 4:30).

Good luck with your decision.

They're very different watches, the Bulova being a quartz chronograph and the Tissot being an auto -- but it's using Tissot's cheap Lemania 5100 based chronograph, chock full of plastic parts and known for being an issue to service.  This is one of those rare times I'd go for the quartz over the automatic, simply because I think that the Bulova will last longer.  In the meantime, I concur with @Catskinner's opinion -- wait for the 43mm Bulova.

I like both so try to get both them watches they are for sure respectful watches. Unless you want to go simple and cheap get the Timex Expedition Chronograph.

Most made in the Philippines.

Whoa! Didn't know that a 43mm Lunar Pilot will be launched soon. :)

Thank you, sir, for the information!

Have you considered a Seagull 1963 while they’re on sale during the AliExpress 11.11 sale?  It’s a column wheel mechanical chronograph which can be had for about $150.

I echo what @Catskinner  said above and wait for the 43mm.

Yes, sir. Been eyeing the Seagull too. But I think I'll get it next year. The design of it doesn't draw me as much as the Lunar Pilot or the Tissot. But I am now having second thoughts on the Tissot because of the comment regarding its "cheap" movement.

Thanks for the input, sir!

Looks like it is the most logical thing to do :)

Just not a fan of the high polished finish but if it fits me better, then looks like I have my next Chronograph. :)

Have you tried the lunar pilot ? It's huge...

The Lunar pilot was too big for me. I was a little heart broken to have to return it. I really wanted it to work. But it wears Big!
