New Summiteer 36mm by Traska

I made one of the first reviews of the version two of this watch. I hinted some improvements that Traska started making in the 38.5mm version creating a cleaner dial in the v3. Of course, because of my advice being considered I had to get that watch. But I also suggested to make the 36mm version. They also listened to me and others and have created a limited run of 100 units that sold in 4 minutes. Of course being this the original suggestion I made, I secured one that arrived yesterday. Seems Traska will finally make more of this sized watch. So far it's great. Elegant, versatile and rough at the same time.

Good news. My blue one is coming tomorrow/Friday. I have a 7inch wrist and already have a couple of 36mm's so not worried about the size.

BTW I really appreciate the Traska release/drop approach - secure the order: the watch is delivered straight away vs secure the order: wait 6 months like most other microbrands tend to do.

7.25 here and wears more like a 37. Please share some images when you get yours!

Traska has also some pre order system, but usually takes only a couple of months for the watches to be delivered. We'll see around October what they have in store.

I'd be okay with the 36mm but I'm keeping an eye out for a 38.5mm for myself.

Of course. It's a very good size too. I have the green one in that size. Might have to sell it, but it's a great one too.

So they are making the 36mm as a standard model. I’m now eyeing it after failing to get a Smiths Everest and after seeing a YouTube video about your experience. This Traska seems to check a lot of boxes. How have you been liking yours?

I'm totally in love with this watch. It's a great true homage and not a direct design copy. It's very capable, versatile and resistant to anything you may throw at it. I really recommend it.

You can really feel proud of owning this watch. I feel it has the same spirit as the Rolex Explorer. I wear both with the same exploring spirit :)
