I have three "tiers" if you will (😂😎):
3rd tier aka conventional: CNS
2nd tier aka direct action special mission: Zuludiver/Watch Gecko, Crown and Buckle, Springmade, Helm
1st tier aka SOF: The Watch Steward, Blu Shark, Haveston
0 tier aka Ground Branch: Lorier, Zulu Alpha
As number gets lower, price dramatically increases. Utility doesn't necessarily, but over all finish and texture (smoother) does increase as you get more specialized. Also the lower you go the less fraying and more sturdily sewn.
Own several from all companies listed.
Would eventually like to try CWC and Hawkrigger, but for the moment would rather not spend that much to get them here in the US.

On the fraying end, its no different than a service uniform. A quick run with a BIC lighter and problem solved. Not a structural issue.
