My favorite seamaster

I bought the Seamaster 2254.50 from 2005 this July. The watch was a full-set in in unpolished condition as well as including the original receipt. Since I got this watch it is my daily wearer, because it is extremely comfortable, very thin, the proportions are perfect and it stands up to everything. The watch has never had a service done, yet it runs and runs. The design is unique and the bracelet is a dream. Another plus is the versality of this watch, you can wear it with anything. I am in love with this watch. My best purchase since I started this hobby a year ago. For me this is the best Seamaster ever made and can only recommend it to everyone. Let's see how it will do against my 2-3 NWA, which will be added to my collection this week.

@Kiremb thanks for the inspiration!

Looking for mine in the condition you describe. Wear it in the best of health

These are so underrated. I had one of these black ones but it was a bit too bland on dial for me so I got the electric blue version. So comfortable and timeless.

·

Easy-read dial, fantastic lume…and it’s not another Sub!…no offense to my Sub wearing friends!

·

Love this seamaster😍😍🔥

·

That’s my favorite 300pro dial.

·

The Seamaster is my favorite everyday watch.

Yes true, but slowly the market prices are rising so I think people are realizing what a deal this watch is. The electric blue version is also amazing. They are amazing and so thin. Too good to be true.

My daily was a 300 heritage in blue. I just picked up a NTTD yesterday and it’s a dream to wear. It’s less versatile than the 300 but more “fun”.

You have some collection, really nice! I mean for the special days where you work as 007 it's good to have the NTTD😉

·

Beautiful watch. I had my eye on the TI version of this a while back. It was an electric blue dial. So 😍. Ended up picking up a different ti diver.

Lol. I swear I bought it for the specs not the movie. I wanted a hev 300 and I wanted a TI watch. This one checked both boxes, is actually slightly smaller than the 300m and 1/2 the weight. Which is a good thing. The 300m felt a bit big on me.

I actually wasn’t planning on buying one (way to expensive) but I stopped by the AD to say hello and look at the new stuff and he mentioned he had a used one in the safe. Turns out one of his big clients went blind and was selling off his collection. I scooped this for 1/2 retail in never worn condition 3 years left on warranty. It’s a Cinderella story.

True. Can’t beat black for versatility.

Yeeh I understand. I do not like ghe 300m that much because it feels too chunky and big. I like more the proportions of the old ones. But the bond was always on my list but too expensive and I did not like the clasp, I think they could made a better job and made it thinner.

Man what a deal. You are a lucky man! Congratulations! That's a no brainer haha

That’s what I told my wife…. She’s skeptical I have any brain at all right now Lol.

I hear what you are saying about the clasp. I have the steel version of the mesh on my 300 and I don’t even notice the overlap anymore. Interestingly the 300s flat link adjustable clasp is just as thick as the mesh. It just doesn’t have that same gap.

I mean it's a no-brainer. Every rational person would make this choice haha.

Yeah I can imagine after time one would not notice this anymore. I mean the aestheticics are gorgeous. In my opinion one of the most beautiful Seamaster there are out there.
