NWA: Omega Genève (rectangular) in 18k yellow gold
I got hold of this beautiful Omega Genève (rectangular) in 18k yellow gold with a stunning hand-made guilloche dial at a local trade fair in mid-December. It was another one of those spontaneous purchases. Oops!!!
I couldn't resist this stunning watch. I haven't seen such a special watch for a long time. The watch is powered by a mechanical movement (Cal 620) and dates back to 1962.The incredible thing about this watch is that the dial was hand-guioched by a craftsman at customer's request, which makes this a unique piece of art. Especially when the sun hits it, the dial looks just amazing!! In addition to that the watch is in NOS-condition. I feel blessed that this unique piece has been added to my watch collection. But now enjoy the pictures, because they speak more than 1000 words.

Yikes!!! This is what I call an "unexpected opportunity" watch. It presents itself unexpectedly and then you must rapidly decide whether you will merely let it haunt your dreams or whether you will make it yours. The dial says I'm stepping out for cocktails!
