Why do crunchers post polls but don't actually post polls?

WC has a nice poll feature that allows you to tally the response but also still get comments. I have noticed we crunchers will post a question as a poll but not use the awesome polls feature. Why?

I should note I like the polls because sometimes I don't have time to read all the comments and just want to see what everyone's temperature is on the topic proposed.

I would guess that sometimes there aren't enough options on the poll.

yeah it is limited to 4 questions

I've noticed this, too. I've even clicked on a few photos thinking I was casting a vote, only to be presented with a larger version of the photo, because it wasn't a poll.

In the workplace, I'm dumbfounded by how often I book meetings that show everyone available, only to have multiple people respond that they're out of the office or in another meeting at that time. Then WHY ISN'T YOUR F&^%$*&G CALENDAR UP TO DATE?!?!

I just think people don't like using tools properly.

Because a lot of the same polls get redone after a while & the polls I post would probably be offensive 😂😂

There is the other scenario where a member spams the posts with pointless polls just to attain the Pollster badge quickly. Gets dull quickly and detracts from the good polls.

Why would I want a badge?

I don’t know how to do the poll thing

I don’t know how to do the poll thing

From the app just hit the plus sign and select poll. From the web— on the left side at the top portion of the homepage click polls and it will take you the polls landing page and at the top is the button to start a new poll.
