The classic Rolex DJ two-tone champagne dial...

What are you thoughts on it, a cool classic or grandpa's watch?

I initially didn't like it at all, but them more I see them, the more they're growing on me. Also, what's the demand on these, does anyone know?

I like the newer one, especially with the gold fluted motif. It is a classic for a reason.

It's class

It was my first Rolex I ever had. I think that they are pure class.

I think the Patrick Bateman special has a slightly different dial. Apparently other people hear Rolex and think of tool watches. I think of a fluted Datejust, prefereably two-tone, or a gold Day-Date.

If one worries about looking old or out of style or whatnot, this is not your model. You need confidence for it.

It’s a classic but not for me. It should be relatively easy to get from an AD. Most two tone DateJusts don’t have an immediate flip profit anymore so that means the people who want them can finally buy them. If I had to guess… less than a 3 month wait?

Grey market dealers have tons of them. You can pick them up between 5 and 7 grand.

New?

New?

Not necessarily new. They can be older but unworn like new. They have used ones that are in excellent condition like new.

I'm interested...where have you seen them?

I've seen them on the Luxury Bazaar website.
