For me the santos could be a one watch collection, which makes it high value for money (IMO). I understand it might be too dressy for some to be a one watch collection.
You have no idea how triggered I am the yellow one has a white face while all the others match lol
Yeah, I thought of that. 😆
The yellow doesn’t look too bad on the white, though. That said, if I got one of these, it’d be the white dial and the first thing I’d do is change the strap.
• Longines DolceVita offers a great value for the moeny!
• Tank Louis Cartier is my favorite for luxury.
• The burgundy Tank is my favorite “fun” rectangular.
• the Reverso is cool, but I personally think DolceVita is close enough to it. I would rather get multiple DolceVitas and Tanks before going the Reverso route.
Pre-owned the value of the older, smaller, and according to me better proportioned Grand Taille Reverso. In house, original design, gullioche dial and the quality is up their easily equal to the overated & outdated😉Holy Trinity.
Short of water activity, it can do it all and has all the aspects listed above and is a multigenerational piece from one of the best watchmakers still around. Again, pre owned, that’s the value bargain. I am not referring to the larger size Reverso now with the larger size price tag. Still a fair shake, but no longer a value or bargain play rectangular piece if purchased new.
Seiko has plenty of good rectangular watches. My favorite is SUP250. Solar, gorgeous dial and Roman numerals. Dress watches using solar movement just makes more sense to me

Oris Rectangular 👌
Some YouTuber posted about a new Casio Tank coming out soon? He said he paid £50 at an AD in Spain, and it gave some clean Cartier vibes off.

-Shockproof
-Waterproof
-Anti-magnetic
-GMT/World Time complication
-Chronograph complication
-Alarm complication
-Hourly chime complication
-Accuracy that puts a superlative chronometer to shame
And holds the world record from being run over by a 24.97 metric ton truck...
Need I go on? 😆
Ok, yes, technically it's octagonal, but it's more of less rectangular...
I've got a bunch more of these but these are good examples... the Eterna Madison is the king of these because of the movement...
So many, but have these.

I’m with Team Reverso! Although Team Tank ain’t a bad squad either.
You beat me to it! Good choice 👍🏻
Yup. For a non vintage, tonneau case, auto, guilloche dial, two hand dress watch, hard to beat the value here.
Nothing against any of the higher priced variants at all btws. Tonneaus are fun, and wish more did them.

For me, it’s gotta be the Casio AQ 230A or, the Casio AQ 800.
Cheap and cheerful watches 😊👍.
AQ-800EC-2ADF
Good reminder, this line is fun.

That Eterna movement and the Bulova are amazing! Any idea what that Bulova model is called?
Love this watch! 😍
I'm biased. I'll almost always choose the Reverso.
Cartier is the best value for money. But There’s something at the FMs that attracts me.
The reverso is my dream rectangular watch but I do love my dolce

Great choice! 👌🏼
Big fan of the Zenith Respirator, but not sure vintage correlates well with "Right Now".
Current watches, definitely team Reverso.
For a more affordable watches, I really like the mid-century modern vibe of this Moels.
Minase Horizon GEN Black DLC
Minase Seven Windows
I went vintage and got this at an auction for less than 20 USD equivalent.
