Avoiding digging into the back of the hand is the only one of which I am aware.
As @PoorMansRolex said, that is the reason I heard.
As other have said.
Honestly these days I prefer a destro or left hand, put up with regular since not too many out there on the affordable side of the house.
Big 3:00 crowns on some of those divers can really dig an ugly, callused pit in the back of your hand.
