Great question! Which to pursue as I’ll only be able to get one for the foreseeable future
I'd go Sub first because it will be the most difficult get (aside from motif dial DJs). What's your style though, sporty or more dressy/casual? I'd let that dictate. Can't go wrong with either as both are classic Rolex.

More casual. Don’t get more dressed up more than a blazer and slacks for in office days. Daily drivers are BB58 blue and Tudor GMT. Marathon navigator is running /gym watch.
I’m going with the explorer first (if the damn AD ever calls me). I feel like that’s a more casual watch watch and I would wear it more. But eventually I’d love to own a DJ 41mm with a fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet as a dress watch. And then I’m done. Just kidding. I don’t think I’ll ever be done 😇
Does the jubilee bracelet take away from the ability to be a GADA watch? I typically wear my watches 1-2 months at a time
I think the jubilee makes it GADA. Combined with the datejust you can wear it with sweatpants to a tux and everything in between and never change your watch. My opinion of course.

Are you asking which to pursue or which people like better?
Put that Datejust on a jubilee and there simply is no other watch.

I would love a wimbleton!!
Expected Explorer landslide incoming
Rolex Date/Datejust is the best watch ever made if you ask me 😅

It’s a no brainer.. if I were you I would have bought it by now … pls rush and pick it up … The DateJust 41 blue fluted bezel with Jubilee bracelet

Think specifying 40mm would have impacted votes?

Rationale being when you go Rolex, forget flying under the radar, go all the way?
That blue is nice but the motif dials are awesome

I do
