NATO style or the real deal? Only a sewn in buckle is mil-spec "proper" NATO.
I only use Watchgecko Zuludiver or CWC - the CWC elastic NATO's are particularly comfortable, and neither of those brands are expensive - & far nicer than my one genuine Omega NATO/cloth strap (spring bar retained buckle, sharper hardware and thicker material) .
I buy my NATO and MN straps from the Juelong store on AliExpress. Good quality nylon, excellent brushed hardware. Ribbed is more visually interesting but stiff and scratchy. Seatbelt is softer and more comfortable.
Most occidental stores ie Barton, StrapsCo, C&B, etc. sell straps made in China from the same manufacturer with their logo stamped on the buckle, except for several times the price in good capitalism fashion.
I'm pretty sure they are identical to the Bark & Jack ones too, without the 10 times influencer scam markup.
I don't recommend CNS. They are also made in China but the hardware they use is the cheapest on the market and it shows. Straps directly from AliExpress come with much better hardware and still cheaper.

After buying lots of different ones and various prices, I am finding the cheap CWC Nato's and elastic Nato's very good. I also love Erika's originals but I am going to also try some cheaper options to see if they are as good.

Thanks for the insight ๐๐ป
I like Blushark nato straps. They're prices at 30+ dollars a strap but they have sale items and when you buy two, the 3rd is free.
I absolutely love the Seals straps from CheapestWatchStraps.
Iโm sure @Max has somethingโฆ ๐

Max's zero pass straps look awesome and basically remove the main downside of the NATO design. They are on the expensive side tho.
