I have a seiko sna548 I inherited after an uncle passed. Great guy!
The chronograph is not working probably should I fix it? It's probably going to cost more to fix it than the watches worth. I think the watch is worth the memories, not the functions
I'd have the hands reset to point straight up and then ignore. However, what's this about an alarm?
I think it does have an alarm. I have to dig into this a little deeper. I don't wear it too often. I had a pulsar that had an alarm a while ago that I wish I still had.
I have a broken chrono my dad gave me. It still keeps time but the main second hand does not move and the chrono functions do not work. I might get around to fixing it at some point, but it gets wrist time even now. I think sentimental value is worth more.

I think the sentimental value is worth keeping it as it is also. Most of the time fixing something on an "inexpensive" watch is worth more than the watch itself. I think if it had a Swiss movement or any other automatic watch I might fix it. But it being battery I probably won't.
Lover of watches. I've been drinking from the fire hose trying to learn everything. So many interesting things out there. I have a few other things I enjoy collecting

Weirdly I think if you get it fixed it will lose its soul….
🤫😉

That's what I was thinking. The functions that I use on it work perfectly.

It would be cool if the alarm worked. But do you need a quartz chrono? I'd be tempted to leave as is.

I think I will leave as it is. Down the road. I'll look for another chronograph. I tend to like a more simple dial.
